World Oral Health Day was celebrated by the students and faculty of Rehman College of Dentistry and other dental colleges on 21st and 22nd March, 2022. It was hosted and organised by members of RCD's Community Welfare Society, under the supervision of Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry headed by Prof Dr Sami Salleh Khan. The theme of this year's World Oral Health Day, as per FDI guidelines was ‘Be proud of your mouth’. The event started off with a brain racking inter-college quiz competition, which was held in the RMI auditorium. Students from RCD, KCD, SBDC and PDC participated in the competition to display their knowledge and cognitive skills. After a tie-breaker round in the Grand Finale, RCD stood 1st in the Quiz Competition while PDC and SBDC secured the 2nd and 3rd place respectively. The Poster and Model competition was held on 22nd March in the RMI lobby, where students from RCD and different colleges throughout the province presented their posters and models. A walk was also held in honour of the event and in order to raise awareness about oral health on this day. Guests, faculty and students participated in the walk. The two day event ended with a prize distribution ceremony and cake-cutting ceremony followed by refreshments for all the guests. #RMIEducation #RCD #worldoralhealthday22
