•   Restoration: In a decayed tooth the diseased part (caries) is removed from the tooth and replaced with a compatible material which may be tooth colored plastic or silver colored metallic material. These materials are held in the tooth utilizing different physical and chemical principles.

•   Root canal treatment: If the decayed process is not controlled in time, it goes unchecked into the living part of the tooth called pulp. The patient would present with symptoms of severe pain especially at night. The only treatment for this condition is to remove the pulp in its entirety and fill it all the way to the root end. This is called root canal treatment.  At RCD, we are using state of the art machines to do the different steps of root canal treatment thereby reducing the working time and improved healing.

•   Bleaching:  In bleaching, single or multiple discolored teeth are made lighter to match the adjacent normal colored teeth using different materials. They may involve making of a tray as well, which the patients wear for some time. The treatment may be provided in the hospital instantaneously using laser devices.

•   Our Department caters to more than 60% of patients coming to RCD.
•   We have provided treatment to more than 50,000 patients in a short span of 3 years.
•   We are constantly updating the knowledge of the faculty by regularly organizing courses, workshops and conferences.
•   The department has a strong faculty and is equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment and is recognized by the CPSP for postgraduate training.

Case Studies
