Dr. Muhammad Irshad is a distinguished Oral Pathologist and researcher, currently serving as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Oral Pathology at Rehman College of Dentistry (RCD), Peshawar. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Khyber College of Dentistry in 2005.
Dr. Irshad pursued his passion for research by earning an MSc in Epidemiology from Maastricht University, Netherlands in 2008. He then completed his PhD at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA) in 2013, focusing on "Host-bacterial interaction in peri-implantitis." His research expertise is evident in his high-impact publications in reputable local and international journals.
With extensive experience in teaching Oral Pathology in Pakistan and internationally, Dr. Irshad is dedicated to education and research. As the Head of the Oral Pathology Department and Secretary of the Research Cell at RCD, he coordinates research activities and inspires students and colleagues alike.
