Dr. Dr. Nayab Amin is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Dental Biomaterials at Rehman College of Dentistry (RCD). She earned her B.D.S. degree from Sardar Begum Dental College Peshawar in 2008.
After serving as a Lecturer at Sardar Begum Dental College, she completed her M.Phil. in Science of Dental Materials from the same institution. In 2018, she joined RCD as a Lecturer. Following her M.Phil. defense in 2019, she was promoted to Senior Lecturer. She was admitted to the Ph.D. Dental Materials program at Khyber Medical University in 2021 and was promoted to Assistant Professor that same year. Additionally, she obtained a Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE) from Khyber Medical University in 2021.
Dr. Nayab has over seven years of teaching experience in the field of dental biomaterials. Her dedication and discipline have led to her appointment as a staff proctor. She has authored ten original research papers and is the principal author of an internationally published book chapter.
Furthermore, she has edited a book on dental materials. Her commitment to research has made her an integral part of the Journal of Rehman College of Dentistry (JRCD), where she serves as an Associate Editor.
