White Coat Ceremony: 75 Inspiring Dentists Don White Coats at RCD

The Rehman College of Dentistry (RCD) held its annual White Coat Ceremony, a momentous occasion marking the transition of 75 aspiring dentists into the professional realm.
This year’s ceremony held added significance as RCD celebrated the addition of 25 seats, reflecting the college’s commitment to expanding access to quality dental education.
The newly coated students, now donning the symbolic white coats, pledged to serve humanity with both skill and compassion during the White Coat Ceremony. Parents beamed with pride as their children embarked on this significant milestone.
Principal Prof. Dr. Ghulam Rasool welcomed the new class, acknowledging their dedication and trust in RCD. He emphasized the college’s focus on hands-on learning, research, and personal growth, stating, “We shape not just doctors, but compassionate human beings.”
President RMI Zeba Rehman inspired the students with the story of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rehman’s transformative impact on regional healthcare. She encouraged them to dream big and become agents of change.
Vice Chancellor of Khyber Medical University, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq (Sitara-e-Imtiaz), underscored the White Coat Ceremony as a symbol of the trust placed in RCD by students and families. He assured them of the college’s commitment to preparing them for a future where technology, including AI, will play a crucial role in dentistry.
For these 75 students, the white coat is more than just a uniform; it signifies responsibility, service, and the start of a promising career. The journey to becoming leaders in dental healthcare begins now.
