Dr. Irfan Salim

Dr. Irfan Salim is an accomplished periodontist, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontology and Head of the Quality Evaluation Cell (QEC) at Rehman College of Dentistry. He graduated from Khyber College of Dentistry in 2008 and gained valuable experience through his house job, internship, and attachments in the UK and UAE.

Dr. Salim's professional journey includes working in various dental clinics in Peshawar, UAE, and Pakistan, holding positions such as Trainee Medical Officer, Registrar, and Senior Registrar in Periodontology departments. He cleared his MOH, DHA, and HAAD certifications in UAE and earned his MCPS degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan in 2018.

As Head of QEC, Dr. Salim has single-handedly digitalized the cell, creating modular faculty and course evaluation questionnaires, faculty ratings, and a webpage for easy access. He regularly maintains the QEC webpage ((link unavailable)) and conducts annual faculty feedback and online education evaluation.

Dr. Salim's commitment to quality assurance and improvement has significantly contributed to the institution's growth. His expertise in Periodontology and dedication to teaching and quality evaluation make him a valuable asset to our college.
