RCD Hold Award Ceremony for Certificate in Health Research Graduates
Rehman College of Dentistry (RCD), in collaboration with the Clinical Trials Unit at Rehman Medical Institute (RMI), held a special award ceremony as part of its Symposium on Translational and Clinical Research. The event celebrated healthcare professionals who successfully completed the Certificate in Health Research and the Certificate in Clinical Trials Management.
These six-month academic programmes, delivered by RCD in partnership with Aga Khan University, are designed to strengthen research skills, ethical understanding, and clinical trial governance in healthcare. The Certificate in Health Research is supervised by Dr Naseer Ahmad, Director of Research at RCD, under the patronage of Principal Professor Dr Ghulam Rasool.
Certificates were awarded by Professor Dr Saeed Ullah Shah from Shifa International Hospitals, who praised the initiative for building structured research capacity in the region.
The Research Excellence Award was given to Dr Sadiq Ali Shah (CHR 2024) and Dr Muhammad Nabi (CHR 2023) in recognition of their outstanding research performance.
RCD continues to promote academic and professional growth by integrating research training into healthcare education. The Certificate in Health Research is among RMI’s flagship academic offerings, having trained more than 1,000 professionals and giving rise to the International Conference on Health Research, with its fourth edition set for April 2026.
Students at RMI are expected to complete publishable research projects, with full institutional support for dissemination.
